How
do you get new business?
An essential part of most businesses’ sales mix is face to face meetings.
But
where are the good ones?
Have you been put off networking meetings by their cost?
… by
pressure to provide referrals and testimonials every week?
… by the requirement to talk for two minutes about your business?
… by having to get up at some ungodly hour?
Are the networking events you go to good value for your time and money?
The best are valuable and worthwhile, for sure.
But we believe that there is room for a different
sort of forum in which business people – and others – can meet
to develop their relationships unhindered by the expectations and
obligations of traditional networking.
So we’ve invented The Club.
○ it's free
○ it's weekly
○ there is no obligation to attend any week
○ there is no formal passing of testimonials, referrals
○ it's informal: no two minute slots, no speakers
○ it is facilitated by volunteer hosts.
It isn’t a formal networking club. We’re not actually quite sure how to
describe it, but we do know it is an informal weekly gathering which
enables business people who want to meet and get to know other business
people to do so without the restrictions of other organisations.
The club will be useful for any business person, or anyone who wants to
meet business people. Everyone is welcome.
Each meeting will be facilitated by two hosts whose job is
to ensure you get as much from the event as you want.
All you have to do is show up.
The
Club meets every Wednesday, 6pm-8pm
in the bar of Jury's Hotel
Prince Street . Bristol . BS1 4QF
(cheap parking after 6pm in Queen Square)
The venue has a bar for drinks and food.
Turn up when you like and stay as long as you like.
If you’re interested in being a host, please call us to discuss this
further. It isn’t difficult! We’re looking for up to eight people, which
means hosting around once a month.
We’d be very grateful if you would tell your contacts about The
Club!
